Join us for a short production of Treasure Island by students from Magdalen College School, Oxford. The drama department is on tour around the South West.
Set sail for adventure with Treasure Island, a thrilling stage adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s timeless classic! This high-stakes tale follows young Jim Hawkins as he discovers a pirate’s treasure map and embarks on a daring voyage filled with treachery, loyalty, and swashbuckling action. With the villainous but charming Long John Silver at the helm, audiences will be drawn into a world of hidden treasure, mutinies, and moral dilemmas on the high seas. Featuring a dynamic cast of larger-than-life characters, this production combines heart-pounding drama, humour and spectacle, promising a treasure trove of unforgettable moments for the entire family. Remember to bring something to sit on. There will be an outdoor bar selling cold drinks, ice cream and alcohol open throughout the performance, you are welcome to bring you own picnic as well.The performance will go ahead even if it is raining so, please dress for the weather on the day. Please do not bring large beach style parasols as these will block people's view of the performance.
