Step back in time and experience history brought to life at History Live 2025, a fun packed weekend for all the family filled with immersive demonstrations, captivating displays and unforgettable experiences.

Set within the stunning surroundings of The Bishop’s Palace, this extraordinary event is perfect for history lovers, families, and anyone seeking a truly unique day out.

Immerse yourself in dramatic live re-enactments that transport you to key moments in history, featuring authentic costumes and expert demonstrations. Explore hands-on living history exhibits where you can meet historical characters, discover how people lived with interactive displays. You'll find groups from the Iron age through to WW2.

This is a Palace fundraising event. 

Please note Annual Passes, Historic House, Gardeners World, RHS or any other discounted tickets are not valid on this special event weekend.  Tickets available on the day - purchase online to avoid disappointment if we hit our capacity for visitors. 

Please note there will be loud gunpowder bangs on the day and noisy combat demonstrations which may not be suitable for dogs or people sensitive to loud noises.
