Wedding Fayre by Love Actually Weddings

The Wedding Fayre will be open from 11am until 2pm; please remember to bring your email confirmation with you and head to the Palace building on arrival.

Love Actually Weddings in partnership with The Bishop’s Palace invite you a wedding fayre inside the stunning medieval wedding reception venue and 14 acres of RHS partner gardens.

A selection of wedding suppliers will be on hand with a range of fantastic ideas and inspiration for the big day. The fayre will be on the ground floor of the Palace so accessible for all. Enjoy a glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival. Tours of the event spaces and the grounds are on offer.  Staff will also be on hand to assist with any questions and wedding inspiration giving couples the perfect opportunity to see just how beautiful the venue will be.

Steeped in history, The Palace and Gardens sit at the heart of the historical and medieval city of Wells.

Whether your arrival is by car or a relaxed stroll across the drawbridge, as you make your way through the arch of the ancient gatehouse, you will be greeted with breath-taking views of this stunning, 800-year-old medieval building.

With the moat surrounding The Palace, offering the tranquil sounds of flowing water, the stunning backdrop of Wells Cathedral, picturesque willow bridge and seasonal flowers and plants all year round. The Palace’s Undercroft boasts a magnificent, vaulted ceiling and stained-glass windows. Lit with candles, it provides the ideal intimate atmosphere for your celebratory wedding breakfast.
