Cathedral and Palace Joint Day Ticket
Get entry to the two most famous landmarks in the city of Wells: Wells Cathedral and The Bishop's Palace and Gardens. Saving £8.50 per adult. Please note both the The Bishop's Palace & Wells Cathedral both charge £5 per child (5 - 17) separately.
You can purchase your ticket online or at either the Palace or the Cathedral. It is valid for the selected date and is not valid on special event days at either attraction.
Cathedral opening times can be found here. On a Sunday the Cathedral is open to tourists between 12 and 2pm.
Purchasing online will be subject to a 60p booking fee. Please show your email confirmation to the staff at the ticket office in the Palace to get your ticket for the access to both sites.

The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens runs the Gift Aid on Entry Scheme. Under this scheme, if you’re not a Member of The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, you have the choice of two entry tickets. When you buy your ticket, we will offer you the Gift Aid Admission price; but it is entirely up to you which ticket you choose. If you want the Non-Gift Aid price, just let us know.
Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid** – an extra 25 per cent – all of which goes straight back into the upkeep of this unique, Grade I listed, historic site.
